I was born in Coralville, Iowa. I attended no formal schools due to a developmental disability. I taught myself to read and write and began exploring microscopy at age five. My work life has included 20 years with Wild Bill's Coffee shop and Uptown Bill's Small Mall. During that time I have also been engaged in the scientific study of entomoloyg, specializing in myrmecology - the study of ants. Benjamin Chait, owner of a local art gallery, has been instrumental in helping others to see the artistic value of my work. A royalty free CD of my favorite photographs is can be purchased on eBay.
